Although it is technically in Vélez-Málaga district, this sculpture, entitled Molino de Aceite, siglo XIX (Oil Mill, 19th century) is listed on the Rincón de la Victoria website as part of their ‘Statues Route’. Just good that someone has provided such a route for people to follow if they so desire.

Although, presumably, it was a municipal approved sculpture and has a title plaque, the author is somewhat surprisingly listed as ‘unknown’. Will have to dig a little deeper into that!

The sculpture is just off the coast road in Chilches Costa, in avda Brisa del Mar to be precise.

Is it actually a ‘sculpture’ as such, or more of an ‘art installation?’
