Plumbago

Plumbago is the general name given to a genus of flowering plants in the family Plumbaginaceae, these being native to warm temperate to tropical regions of the world. I came across herds of these lovely flowers as I scooted around the other day so had to take a picture.

Plumbago can grow up to 1.6m (6 feet 6 inches. The flowers can be white, blue, purple, red, or pink, with a tubular corolla (collective name given to all the petals of a flower) sporting five petal-like lobes.
