Until it arrived, I had forgotten that El Picoteo de Pintada serves some (all??) cakes warm/hot. As it turned out, warm carrot cake is exceptionally nice. The cream was cold, naturally.

It was overcast, and cool in the shade, but fine sitting outside – El Picoteo is purely ‘terrace’…
