The Detunda-Nerja Caves Botanical Garden – jardín botánico Detunda-Cueva de Nerja covers an area of 26,000 square metres and contains around 200 species of plants found in the mountains of Málaga and Granada provinces, including orchids and a number of rare specimens. The plants are all labelled and there are a number of information boards scattered throughout the garden.

A 1.6km walking route winds through the garden and there is also a small pond. There are several seating areas, mostly shaded, where you can stop along the way.
