This time a lighter, and I would say smoother, spiced rum in th’ shape o’ Cap’n Morgan Spiced Gold.

Cap’n Morgan be a brand o’ flavoured rums produced by British alcohol conglomerate Diageo and be named aft th’ 17th-century Welsh privateer matey Henry Morgan.

Th’ rum originates from th’ US Virgin Islands and th’ brand began in 1944. This particular one be spiced rum with a taste o’ vanilla, various spices, brown sugar and a hint o’ oak – apparently.

Certainly tastes pretty good. Nice as a ‘splash’ in a cup o’ coffee, too.
