The Food Trucks Xperience has been taking place in Plaza Al-Andalus in Rincón de la Victoria, with food and entertainment on offer throughout the day.
Less public this year, but they did have the added competition from the Food Truck World Championships being held at the same time in Málaga centre. That event was absolutely rammed and the food on offer was excellent.
The Colombian arepitas (bit like pita bread in a way) were tasty and you could see them making them in the truck.
Love the time spent on the aesthetics with this truck.
I began with a couple of Argentinian empanadas – ternera with chimichurri for a bit of spice, and jamon y queso. Must say I was a little disappointed. Obviously not made on-site but the heating ovens/microwaves (not sure which, but think maybe ovens) left the pasties tepid, at best, despite a fairly long cooking/heating time.
Anyway, spent a pleasant couple of hours in the sun – it was surprisingly hot – eating, drinking and listening to the musical accompaniment.
