The Parroquia de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Benajarafe was built in 1972 and is the work of the architect D. Andrés Escassi. It consists of a single nave, highlighted by its large stained glass windows and, along with other elements, gives the building a very modern appearance.
The main altar is made of marble and has at its centre a chest apparently containing the relics of San Faustino, namely the skull and part of the legs, a fact reportedly ratified by Rome in a Papal bull. The chest is carved in wood, in baroque style, and can be seen through glass.
As for the images within the church, these are the Virgen del Carmen y del Rosario and Cristo Crucificado.
