According to local legend (or maybe a comment I read somewhere recently), this old carriage from the former narrow gauge railway which ran east of Málaga until 1968 was, for quite some time, used as a children’s library and was located next to the repurposed railway station in Rincón de la Victoria. (see Old Railway Route)
Apparently, no-one understood why it was removed and dumped unceremoniously on a patch of waste ground in the middle of nowhere in Torre de Benagalbón…But it was, and there it remains. Ironically, it is listed as a ‘Tourist Attraction’ on Google Maps.
